Overview: Success in STEM fields is achieved through the combination of technical expertise and essential leadership skills. This AccelerateX program develops students’ leadership skills by empowering students to improve their communication of complex ideas across disciplines, sharpen their conflict management and collaboration skills, and broaden their ability to work in and lead diverse teams. By building both technical and leadership skills, participants become well-rounded professionals prepared to lead and innovate in high-stakes environments.
Program Prerequisites: There are no prerequisite courses or experiences required to participate in this AccelerateX program. While the content will be geared towards individuals in STEM majors and backgrounds, students from all majors and degree programs are invited to apply. We are looking for students who are interested in bridging the gap between technical skills and human skills and using these skills to be a better leader and a better human.
